CPU: we only offer either Intel i5 or i7 processors, these are much more powerful than Intel’s lower tier processors such as their Pentiums, Celerons or i3 processors. Most of our competitors will send you laptops with these weaker CPUs in but we believe that our customers deserve better. Either or i5 or i7 option will ensure you get solid performance in all everyday tasks, the i7 is slightly quicker, more powerful and better at multi-tasking, but the i5 will be plenty strong enough for the average user.

RAM: the minimum amount we offer is 8GB. Again, most of our competitors will send you laptops with only 4GB of RAM, and while that is enough for a laptop to run, to get a far greater user experience this needs to be increased. All the updates and improvements to Windows have come with the cost of increased RAM usage which would eat into that 4GB limit very quickly, and that’s before you have all your programs and browser tabs open! With 8GB of RAM you won’t have to worry about this and can use the laptop as you’d like. We do also offer 16GB of RAM, if you’re the type of person who likes to really multi task or forgets to close things this is for you.

SSD: You may notice that there isn’t an option for a Hard drive (HDD). We’ve made the decision to only offer solid state drives (SSD), these are more expensive than a traditional mechanical hard drive but they are much faster (between 5 to 10 times faster depending on the workload), and unlike a hard drive which has a spinning disk inside, these are all flash memory with no moving parts. This means that even if you were to drop the laptop while the laptop was on, your data inside would still be safe. We think it’s important that all of our customers get the best possible experience out of their refurbished laptops and SSDs ensure this. You’ll also get lightning fast boot times and a much more reliable experience.

OS: We offer both Windows 10 and Windows 11. Windows 11 comes with quite a few improvements over Windows 10, both in functionality and aesthetics, but we get it. Change is scary. If you want to stick with what you know, that’s totally fine so we’re also offering Windows 10 with all the latest updates. There is no cost difference in these for you, so just choose whichever you’d like.
