Our tips on getting your computer repaired
Do your research
Before anything, make sure you do your research into the best company to repair your computer. Whilst bigger, corporate companies may seem like the best option for a reputable repair service, smaller, local businesses tend to offer a more complete service for a fraction of the cost.
Some of the main things you want to research before making a decision are:
Here they will list qualifications and information about the service they provide. It’s worth checking if they specialise in your model of computer. If they do, you are more likely to experience a better service because they are experts in just what you need.
Make sure you look at review sites to check they are reputable and consistently provide their customers with a good and fair service. Sites such as Trustpilot and Google Reviews are a great place to find honest customer reviews.
Do they offer a guarantee?
To give you peace of mind, make sure the company you choose offers some sort of guarantee with their repair, so that on the off chance something is still not quite right, you have an assurance that they will it fix for you.
Can you speak to them?
One of the most important things to do before deciding on the best repair company for you, is to give them a call. Have a discussion about the issue you are having and how they are going to fix it.
If you aren’t able to do this, then you might not get the exact fix you need, so it’s always worth choosing a company that you can have a conversation with.
