History

Hardware Associates was established in 1997 in a small warehouse in Hindhead, England. The team had worked together even before then, starting out as IT brokers in the pre-internet era, matching supply and demand in the IT industry without the use of the online search engines we use today.

With the widespread use of the internet, Hardware Associates was founded by Bill and Michael. The organisation soon grew and moved to much larger premises in Petworth, West Sussex. They have now expanded further due to increased growth and also taken up the adjacent industrial unit.

Originally set up as a Dell spares specialist, the company branched out into sourcing and selling computer spares from a number of other top brands including HP, Apple and Lenovo, and also offer repairs as well as refurbished computers, laptops and servers.

Belief and strategy

The team's belief and strategy has always been:

  • To understand and meet ongoing market needs
  • To provide outstanding value for money
  • To put the customer first.

Over the years Bill and Michael and the team have experienced great leaps forward in IT, but one element of their business has remained the same: to provide outstanding value for money and customer care.

A strong position

Hardware Associates is now in a stronger position than ever before. As both hardware specialists and stockists they are able to advise and supply. Over time they have built up hundreds of excellent industry contacts and therefore have the experience and connections they need to service every hardware demand from every sector: from education to end user, and from value added reselller to healthcare.
